Before arriving in Canada, Anita worked as a Diplomat with the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she specialized in foreign policy, bilateral and multilateral agreements, conflict resolution, and negotiations, with a key focus on the Asia-Pacific region, serving as the home officer for political and economic desks within that region.
Before joining the government, Anita had worked in the private sector, her experience spanning operational and administrative management, sales, business development, project management, and fostering international partnerships for business growth. Having worked in a startup, Anita grew the company’s bottom line by 80% in three years, reduced accrued debt down to less than 10%, and established strategic vision, plans, and operationalization of such plans.
On arrival to Canada, Anita wasted no time, taking all the years of experience gathered, and matching it with extensive research to understand the Canadian system and establish her career. She committed to helping others along the way, setting the foundation for her role as a Coach and Mentor. Being a wife and mom added a layer of challenge which Anita sought to also overcome by learning and putting in place systems and structures for high productivity. Leveraging her relationship-building skills, and ability to relate with people of diverse ethnic backgrounds, Anita has an extensive relationship pool which she leverages for her clients as well.
In no time, Anita was well established in Canada, having worked in retail, non-profit, and industry associations and within provincial government where she has worked (and continues to) with various Senior Executives as a policy, planning, and strategy expert. Anita has also gone on to become an established author, an entrepreneur, and a leader within the faith-based and Nigerian community.
Now, Anita is fully committed to helping others navigate this journey, accelerate their transition process, and advance in their careers without all the overwhelm, hence, the birthing of Advanced and Fulfilled Coaching.
